Introduction
Notion2Charts allows you to create powerful charts that help you understand your data better, but when it comes to large amounts of data, it's important to create charts efficiently. This guide will walk you through the process of creating charts with a large amount of data efficiently on Notion2Charts.
Step 1: Use Filters
Filters are a powerful tool that allow you to narrow down your data to specific subsets. You can apply filters to your data by clicking on the "Add Filters" or "Edit Filters" button in the left sidebar. This will open a modal where you can add filters based on any property type, such as Formula, date, text, select, multi-select, rollup, status, person, relation, etc.
Step 2: Use Pagination
Pagination allows you to retrieve a specific number of records at a time. You can retrieve the first 100 results which is fast or retrieve all the results which can be slow in case of fetching large amounts of records.
Step 3: Use Aggregate Functions
Aggregate functions allow you to summarize your data. You can use aggregate functions such as sum, count, average, cumulative sum, etc.
Step 4: Use Dynamic Date Filters
Dynamic date filters are a powerful way to filter your data by date. You can choose from a variety of options such as today, yesterday, last week, next week, last month, next month, last quarter, next quarter, last 6 months, etc.
