How to Use Filters and Sorting to Focus on Specific Data in Notion2Charts

Introduction

Notion2Charts allows you to create powerful charts that help you understand your data better. One of the key features of the tool is the ability to filter and sort your data to focus on specific sets of information. This guide will walk you through the process of using filters and sorting to focus on specific data in Notion2Charts.

Step 1: Apply Filters

Filters are a powerful tool that allow you to narrow down your data to specific subsets. You can apply filters to your data by clicking on the "Add Filters" or "Edit Filters" button in the left sidebar. This will open a modal where you can add filters based on any property type, such as Formula, date, text, select, multi-select, rollup, status, person, relation, etc.

Step 2: Use Dynamic Date Filters

Dynamic date filters are a powerful way to filter your data by date. You can choose from a variety of options such as today, yesterday, last week, next week, last month, next month, last quarter, next quarter, last 6 months, etc.

Step 3: Use Sorting

Sorting allows you to arrange your data in a specific order. You can sort your data by clicking on the gear icon of the X-axis or Y-axis column and then select the sorting option you want.

Step 4: Use Multiple Y-Axes

Multiple Y-axes allow you to add multiple series to your charts and compare them. You can add multiple Y-axes by clicking on the "Add Y-Axis" button in the left sidebar.
