How to Use Filters on Notion2Charts

Introduction

Using filters on Notion2Charts allows you to limit the data displayed on your charts to a specific set of records. This guide will walk you through the process of using filters.

Step 1: Open the Chart Builder

To use filters, you first need to open the chart builder. This can be done by clicking on the "Create a Chart" button on the home page or by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the chart you want to customize.

Step 2: Open the Filters Modal

Once you are on the chart builder page, you will see the "Filters" button on the left sidebar. By clicking on it, you will open the filters modal where you can add filters based on any Notion property type (Formula, date, text, select, multi-select, rollup, status, person, relation ...)

Step 3: Add Filters

In the filters modal, you can add filters by clicking on the "+" button, this will open a dropdown list of all the properties of the selected database. Select the property you want to filter by, and you can then specify the filter criteria.

Step 4: Combine Filters

You can also combine filters using the "Any/Or" operators, this will allow you to create more complex filters by combining multiple filters together.

Step 5: Apply Filters

Once you have added and combined your filters, click on the "Apply" button to apply the filters to your chart. You will see that only the data that matches the filter criteria will be displayed on your chart.
